About the Program

What is a scar progress documentation consultation?

This is not a promotional shoot — it is a program designed to systematically document scar treatment progress by type. Photos and videos are kept only within the scope you have consented to.

01

Records by Scar Type

We aim to build case records across 9 categories: facial surgery scars, acne / pore scars, burn / contracture, keloid / hypertrophic, traumatic, C-section / abdomen, thyroid / neck, stretch marks / mole removal, and breast surgery scars.

02

Decision after Consultation

Actual participation and treatment plans are decided at the in-person consultation. Your application and photos are used only as reference material to prioritize consultation scheduling.

03

Within Your Consent

Treatment progress is recorded only within the scope you have consented to. You select the disclosure scope at application time, then reconfirm via consent form after consultation. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Before You Apply

Before You Apply

To keep treatment records safe and meaningful, we review scar type, onset timing, skin condition, photo consent scope, and visit availability together. If you do not meet the program criteria, we may still guide you to a regular consultation.

Cases we may prioritize

Cases where treatment documentation works well

  • Red incision scars within 3–12 months post-op
  • Irregular upper eyelid (double-eyelid) line scars
  • Pre/post-auricular scars from facelift
  • Surgical scars with hypertrophic tendency
  • Clear box-car or rolling acne scars
  • Areas where before/after change can be observed
  • Patients who can follow scheduled visits
  • Patients with broad consent for photography
Participation may be limited

These cases may be guided to regular consultation

  • When prior treatment history and current expectations differ greatly from what is realistically achievable
  • When you expect "complete removal"
  • When consent for photo/video recording is narrow
  • When you cannot keep scheduled visits
  • When you have an active infection or dermatitis
  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding (procedure scope may be limited)
  • When a high-risk keloid site is combined with very high expectations
Ways to Participate

Ways to Participate

Participation format varies by your consent scope and scar condition. All formats are reconfirmed in a consent form after consultation.

Open participation

Before/after photos and videos used relatively broadly

For cases where treatment progress can be broadly documented. Offered to patients who can keep scheduled visits and consent to photo/video. Use is limited to what you consented to.

Partial-disclosure participation

Records limited to partial-face, mosaic, or de-identified scope

If full disclosure is uncomfortable, records are kept and used only in a limited scope such as partial-face or mosaic. You select your consent scope on the application form and reconfirm it after consultation.

Regular consultation

Regular care path when Progress Log is not a fit

Even if program criteria are not met, we can guide you to a regular consultation. No model-related activities take place; no photos or videos are used.

FAQ

FAQ

Is the entire face shown publicly?
No. You choose from full disclosure, partial, mosaic, or non-public. The final scope is reconfirmed in a separate consent form after consultation, and nothing is used outside what you have agreed to.
Are there any treatment cost benefits?
Conditions vary by scar status, treatment scope, consent scope, and scheduling. Whether there are cost benefits is explained by the doctor at the in-person consultation. No payment or commitment is made at this application stage.
Can I withdraw consent later?
Yes, you can withdraw consent at any time. The deletion scope for already-published materials follows the separate consent form and applicable laws. Send withdrawal requests to drbae@elionmedi.com.
When will I be contacted?
We review your request first, then contact you with available consultation times as the schedule is arranged.
Can I get treated right after applying?
Submitting the form does not immediately confirm a visit. We will review it and contact you with an available consultation schedule.
Can everyone who applies participate?
Actual participation is decided at the in-person consultation. We review scar type, onset, consent scope, and scheduling holistically. If participation is not a fit, we can guide you to regular care.
Do I have to send photos?
Photos are optional. Front, side and close-up photos taken in natural light help us review your scar before consultation.
I am uncomfortable with face disclosure — can I still apply?
Yes. You may participate with partial-display or mosaic conditions, or proceed to regular consultation. Disclosure scope is reconfirmed at the consent form after consultation, and nothing outside that scope is used.
Can I delete the info I submitted?
Yes. Send a deletion request to drbae@elionmedi.com and data outside legally required retention will be deleted in bulk.
